Merry Christmas everyone, we switched things up a little today and decided to ride the chairlift. Today is a day to be with family and friends so I (Noah) took some family laps with my dad and sister before we gathered around the fire to eat good food and see what Santa brought us.
Skiing is a special sport, its fun whether you are 5 or 80, it's a sport measured in memories made. I think the best skiers are the ones with the biggest smiles at the end of the day.
We made it up for first chair this morning to enjoy some crisp corduroy. Everyone we saw was in great sprints, excited to be out on this beautiful winter morning. The Snowmaking team was out in force, marking snow on Lower World Cup, Lower Chief, Wardance, and in The Zone, just to name a few. The snow was hard and fast, just how I like it. We got to see some familiar faces out and about including one of Okemo's biggest fans and a friend of mine, Alan. The run of the day today was Muellers' Run.
Christmas Tip: It's not that busy today, grab your family and friends and enjoy some quality time on the slopes. If you don't celebrate Christmas then get on out there, it's typically not that busy on Christmas day!
Its still chilly out there today with temperatures expected to remain in the teens all day. Skies look to be partly cloudy all day with mild winds. The weather is looking to stay pretty similar over the next few days before warming up as we approach the New Year
