17. Thursday, January 5th

Updated: Jan 9, 2023

Two members of our snow reporting team, Joe Karl & Riley Karl, hiked up Okemo this morning to check out the conditions. As you can see, the visibility is at an all-time low and the snow surface at the summit is firm and solid.

Riley earning her turns this morning!

The surface changes as they skied down... the middle is a medium-mushy snow and the base is full-send mush. Yes, very technical.

There is no proper report today, but here is today's trail report:

๐ŸŽฟ Trail Count: 66

๐Ÿšก Lift Count: 14

๐Ÿ”ซ Snowmaking may resume tonight.

๐ŸŒก๏ธ Weather: Low to mid-30s

โ„๏ธ 1 to 3 inches of snow in the forecast.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's official unofficial snow report as Noah + Abby (and friends... stay tuned) ski @okemomtn to get a grip on the conditions. It's been a weird weather start to 2023, but things are looking up with snow on the way and colder temps.
