When my alarm went off at 5 a.m. I proceeded to do the wrong thing, press snooze and go back to bed. 😴 Today would have been a great day to get out early but I guess I needed some extra sleep. Fortunately I was rewarded with some pretty amazing lift service after a 9 a.m. zoom call. ⛷️

'Tis the season for holiday shopping so why not support your favorite small business and snow reporting crew by gifting one of our super cool merch items! 🎁

After a failed launch this morning I was eager to get out on the slopes and see what Jackson Gore was looking like. 🤗  I did have a couple things to do in the office but once that was taken care of I was off to Jackson Gore to begin today's Tele adventure. I felt like I was channeling my inner Abby, parking in her usual spot at Jackson Gore and my pockets loaded with snacks. 💁‍♀️

Today's Quick Facts:

🏔️ Trail Count: 38/122

🚡 Lift Count: 10/20

⛷️ Today's Ski: Atomic Backland 100

🎿 Today's Boot: Scarpa T4

🧤 Today's Gear: Helly Hansen

As I made my way up the Colman Brook Express and Quantum Six I had Spotify's "Mood Booster" playlist getting me in the groove. 🎶 This has been a go too playlist over the years and has been a great motivator this week. From the top of Jackson Gore the views were phenomenal, you could see the White Mountain's over in New Hampshire and the rolling hills towards Ascutney, it's hard to beat days like these. 🏔️ My first run was Upper and Lower Limelight, and the snow was fast and crisp. With temperatures in the mid-20s it felt like winter and the snow followed suite. I was expecting some early snowmaking snow which is typically pretty firm and unforgiving but the cold weather last week meant the snow quality was better than expected for early season. I took another couple laps making my way over to Solitude and then back to to Jackson Gore via Jack-a-lope and Southern Crossing where I did get some fresh corduroy. It is another great day of midweek skiing up here with amazing views and sunny skies. 😎 If you can sneak in a few runs I would make it a priority!

Pro Tip: If you are trying to get up early to ski having a buddy to hold you accountable is a great way to make sure you follow through!

Our friends at The Boot Pro will be hosting a Free Demo Day next week! 🎿 If you are interested in some new gear or just want to test out this year's hot new skis, you don't want to miss it. You can register online here. We hope to see you there!
