3. Merch Drop Warning: Thursday, November 16th, 2023

The moment you've all been waiting for is finally here: a first look at Noah's entry into his budding modeling career. 😍 Alright, he does look great (even without shaving his beard for our planned photoshoot) but it's not his moment to shine right now. This is Abby emailing you today to let you know that our FIRST EVER MERCH DROP is happening TOMORROW! 🪩 Mark your calendars skiers and riders, because our online shop is opening on Friday, November 17th at 3 p.m. Consider this the "Après Ski Merch Drop" because we assure you that we will be skiing at Okemo for the opening day tomorrow morning.

At 3 p.m. tomorrow, we will be emailing all of our subscribers to let them know that the shop is officially open with a direct link to our online storefront. Stay tuned for that email or watch our socials for a link to the shop, too.

To end this intro, I'd like to thank @RileyKarlPhotography for our glorious merch photos. Riley is an insanely talented local photographer that you can often find teaching lessons at Okemo or skinning up the hill with Noah, but she always has her camera in hand. We'd also like to celebrate Riley's new Silver Sponsorship! Thanks for the support, bestie! 🤘

Now, let's talk about the merch items in our first launch: The Unofficial Basics Drop. ⬇️

Abby and Noah wearing the Unofficial Logo Tee!

The Unofficial Basics Collection features 5️⃣ custom-designed items:

  1. The Unofficial Logo Tee: (as pictured above)

  2. The Unofficial Bubble Tee: a tan tee featuring the Sunburst Six

  3. The Unofficial Goggle Crewneck: a super cozy sweatshirt

  4. The Unofficial Corduroy Cap: the coolest hat you'll ever own

  5. The Unofficial Sticker Pack: four mini stickers perfect for helmets or skis

Follow us on Instagram @unofficialokemo to see the full collection. 👀

All of our items were designed by me, Abby, and made with lots of intention, love, and creativity. 👋 I wanted our first collection to reflect who the greater Unofficial Fam is: down-to-earth, major Okemo fans, silly, outgoing, and ridiculously cool. If you like what you see, I also design merch for an array of clients. Reach out to me at 🍇

Also, all of our clothing items are printed right here in Vermont at New Duds! Thanks to the incredibly legit team at our favorite screenprinting shop, our merch is high-quality and built to last. You're going to love it!

A note about Uphill Travel from Noah... 🎿

We are so excited to get back at it! Our early morning hikes allow us to give you today's information, get some early morning exercise, and access the best skiing. We are very privileged to have such an accommodating Uphill Policy here at Okemo, and it is up to all of us to make sure we stick to the rules to ensure continued access to the mountain. They have a modified policy to start the season, which allows us to get some early season hiking in along with the Mountain Operations team being able to continue snowmaking and grooming operations safely.

Current guidelines: "Hours of uphill travel access will be 4:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. November 17th and 18th and close Sunday, November 19th for snowmaking operations, at which time further access guidance will be provided. The early season designated route will begin from the Clock Tower Base up Open Slope to Lower Mountain Road taking a left onto Lower Chief, uphill travelers will end their uphill route at the Lower Chief and Chute trail intersection. Signage will be present to help guide this early-season route. Access beyond the Chute trail is prohibited!”

We will keep you updated with more information as we learn of it. Remember to be safe, have fun, and follow the rules! 🤝

We have new sponsors! 🎉 Thank you to Tygart Mountain Sports + Tygart Trading Post, Stemwinder + Wine & Cheese Depot, Teaselwood Design, Riley Karl Photography, GameBird Arcade, and Johnny's Kitchen. Find their logos below & support local!
