Hi! The first official Unofficial Okemo snow report written by me, Riley Karl! 💁🏼‍♀️ The morning was filled with flurries, which made for a very magical winter wonderland morning, 🌨️ but also lead to an especially muted sunrise. 🌄❌ The snow didn't accumulate much, but it added to the winter vibes. The snow didn't accumulate much, but it added to the winter vibes. As of 11:11 a.m. snow flurries continue to fall and Ludlow is covered with snow clouds at all angles. Hopefully we get a bit more snow accumulation throughout the day!

As we were hiking up this morning we could hear snow guns & had our fingers crossed that they weren’t running on the uphill route.🤞 As we came around the corner on Upper Arrow, we were relieved to see the guns blowing on Upper Timberline! 🔫🎉😅

The snow was super soft corduroy! Definitely more soft than some other days, my skis didn’t do much chattering, just smooth sailing 🧈 (minus a few golfball snowballs here & there, but easily avoidable). 👀

Pro Tip: Keep an eye on Timberline... hopefully it will open in a few days!

The weather outlook for the weekend looks promising for continued snowmaking with favorite temps. Sunday could be a potential snow day... but right now there could be a stitch of rain for snuck in there. We always like to take a peek at the West River Weather Guy updates and see what he thinks about the upcoming storms. His weekend forecasts drop on Fridays, so stay tuned to his YouTube channel or website. He's a pro. 👏
