Welcome to the first Saturday of the season! Before we dive into things, I want to thank all of you for the tremendous support of our merch launch. 🙏 Abby has been interested in creating fun merch for a long time, and I think we can all agree she killed it. From the initial design ideas to coordinating with New Duds, she deserves most of the credit. We are so excited to meet so many of you tonight at GameBird 🦅 for our local pickup. Alright, now, onto the skiing! While we aren't hiking up for our early morning reports yet, I still took the reins this morning and headed up for some hot laps with my fiance, Rachel.

⛅️ Weather: High of 51, deceivingly chilly on the summit.

Rachel and I got to the mountain around 9am today, with overcast skies and the summit in the clouds we were unsure what we were getting into. ☁️ I quickly realized it wasn't quite as warm as the weather forecast made it look. With some mild wind and humid air I would have appreciated an extra layer. The snow was still soft, heavy in spots, but tons of fun. With limited terrain and plenty of people out here to enjoy opening weekend, I found myself enjoying tight slalom turns on the sides of the trail. The coverage was still great considering the time of year and lack of snowmaking temps over the past few days, no need for rock skis yet. Temperatures look to come down tonight which may allow for snowmaking. 🌡️ Sunday night looks like they will be back at it working toward opening more terrain for Thanksgiving Weekend! 🦃

Pro Tip: The OMS Ski & Snowboard Swap is BACK, head down to the Roundhouse at Jackson Gore to get yourself setup for the season. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Sunday. 🎿
