50. Monday, February 13th

Today is a special day because we’re serving up our 50th snow report! We finally took action on this pipe dream on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 after our first legitimate snowstorm of the season. The stoke was real so we hopped on the hype train and threw together the snow report that started it all. Today, we have 600+ subscribers, 1,500 followers on @unofficialokemo, and we’ve fulfilled our four sponsorship spots for the year. We are extremely proud of how fast we’ve grown in about two months time, but we couldn’t have done it without all of you! We don’t know why you keep coming back for more, but it probably has something to do with your fascination with Noah’s hiking schedule or Abby’s unmatched humor, but we thank you for being here.

Okemo Mountain Snow Report
Day 50!

Hello Okemo fans it is Noah here with your uphill report, it was a struggle this morning but that’s what Mondays are for. Staggered starts, backward skins, and spilled coffee all tried to put a damper on the day. However, the bluebird skies, perfect snow, and great company turned things around. Hannah was the first one to head up this morning, blazing the trail for the rest of us. I followed shortly after in hopes to catch her before she reached the top. Felix and Jen were behind me, after a brief pit stop to reverse skins in the proper direction. I eventually caught up to Hannah near to the summit where I promptly laid down to catch my breath. Unbeknownst to me at that moment, I flipped the lid off my coffee cup and I quickly emptied said coffee cup into my pack. ☕️ When we swapped our layers for the downhill I quickly noticed everything was steaming with my fresh coffee, Mondays am I right?

Once we had everyone together at the top we started our descent. The snow was perfect; crisp, and carvable. ⛷️ There was no snowmaking last night but the groomers were out in full force laying down Okemo’s famous corduroy. They did some winching last night on Lower Sel'st; the Superpipe is getting closer! There are 115 trails and 13 lifts available to you today, plenty of terrain to burn off those chicken wings from last night. Temperatures will be in the 30s today reaching 40 degrees in the base. They are calling for partly cloudy skies with a few isolated snow flurries this evening. For the record, we have clear blue skies at the time of writing this.

Pro Tip: Take a long weekend and stay around for Monday skiing, if you haven't skied midweek before it is a true game changer! 🏈

Today's Quick Facts:

🎿 Trail Count: 115

🚡 Lift Count: 13

🔫 Snowmaking Last Night: 💤

🌡️ 30s to 40s and Partly Cloudy
