51. Tuesday, February 14th

Good morning from our little love-filled resort town. Whether you are celebrating the love for your partner, family, friends, or your Nordica Enforcers, we wish you a very Happy Valentine’s Day! 💌 Our snow reporter, Jessie, was hit by Cupid’s arrow this morning and brought her husband, Ryan, along for her ski day at Okemo. 👼 She brings this love note to you today with updates on the ski conditions. Whether or not love is really in the air, ditch the flowers and chocolate and share today’s snow report with your Valentine instead. 🍫

Okemo Mountain Snow Report
Nothing says True Love like fresh snow.❤️

Ryan, Jessie's husband decided to play hooky from work to spend Valentine's Day on the slopes (we like Ryan, he has his priorities figured out). They started their day out over in Jackson Gore and were pleasantly surprised by two inches of fresh snow that had fallen the night before. ❄️ Quantum Leap and Vortex are typically groomed to perfection no matter the conditions but the fresh snow was a treat, making Quantum Leap Jessie's trail of choice today. They made their way across the entire mountain making stops in Solitude and South Face maximizing their two hour ski day.

The groomers started their shift in Jackson Gore yesterday, ending in South Face early this morning. Which meant Jackson Gore and Solitude had some freshies to enjoy, leaving South Face with the sweet corduroy we love so much. It might not be spring yet but it is starting to feel that way. Temperatures are in the high 30s to low 40s today, with bright blue skies and even brighter sunshine. ☀️

Pro Tip: Only buy 1 bouquet of flowers so you don’t look like a player (Danny's personal experience)

Today's Quick Facts:

🎿 Trail Count: 115

🚡 Lift Count: 11

🔫 Snowmaking Last Night: 💤

🌡️ 30s to 40s and Sunny

We are in for a warmer stretch over the next week or so before setting back down next weekend. Temperatures will reach into the 50s this week before settling back down on Saturday, just to rise again Sunday through Tuesday. This warm weather is less than ideal but that's why we love our snowmakers so much. This is the reason they spend so much time and effort making snow across the mountain whenever they can. The mountain's ability to withstand warmups and rain is why we love them so much. There is plenty of snow out there and a few days of warm weather won't hurt them too badly. Plus the snowmaking team will be on standby to jump back in as soon as the weather turns around.🫶🏻
