Cheers to a bluebird and springlike weekend at Okemo! Today was a rare day with Noah, Joe, and myself (Abby) all hitting the slopes. How could you say no to a 45-degree ski day with sunshine?! ☀️ Joe led the Helly Hansen uphill morning event with Noah trailing along, enjoying smooth cord top-to-bottom. I went for some gorgeous lift laps with Danny and Cole for two hours and got in some of the best runs of the day. It's soft, sunny, warm, and everyone seems to be vibing today. 🤘

We have THREE NEW PATRONS! We're thrilled to welcome Brian Hamel, Jacq Estelle, and the Goos Family to the Unofficial fam. 👏 Thanks for your support!
I started my ski day feeling refreshed thanks to my incredible massage at Body + Breath in Springfield yesterday - highly recommend seeing Emily for a post-ski day massage. I was stoked to get on the hill after taking a week off at Disney... the last day I skied was January 29th which feels like an eternity. 😮
Okemo and Mother Nature offered me a warm welcome back with temps in the high-40s, blue skies, warm sunshine, soft snow, and buttery corduroy. Today's conditions and weather is exactly my ideal ski day. If Genie granted me one wish, I would ask for every ski day to be exactly like this one. 😆

Starting at Jackson Gore, we rode White Lightning for the first time this season! It was groomed, wide, and it's so fun to rip down into Quantum Leap from there. Exhibition under the Solitude Express Quad was unbelievably good for a trail that doesn't get much attention. Y'all are sleeping on this run. 👌
I can't believe it's February 10th and I hadn't been to SouthFace yet, but today was the day to get my butt over Cat Nap and make the trek to the sunny side of Okemo. 🐱Snowboarders and kids should beware of the slow trip over to SouthFace - be sure to grab a friend with a pole to help you out. It's essentially skating through peanut butter.
Dreamweaver was excellent, even though it was quite crowded with kids and families. Which leads me to my new segment 🌈 "Don't Be a Jerk at the Resort" 🌈. If you are an advanced skier and choosing to ride on a beginner trail, please remember that there are children learning, adults learning, and families taking their time to get down the slopes safely. Give them space and try not to rip by them are lightning speed. Thanks!
Pro Tip: Zip your pockets and take good care of lose wrappers which can jump out of unzipped pockets.
Due to the growing lift lines, we figured we better stay away from the Sunburst and take Upper Mountain Road all the way down to Jackson Gore. I realize not many people may know how to navigate the mountain (it can be complicated and confusing) so here's the route: SouthFace Express Quad to the summit ➡️ Take a right to Upper Mountain Road ➡️ Stay right on Mountain Road at Malfunction Junction ➡️ Stay left to take Sidewinder ➡️ Stay left onto Upper Moonshadow ➡️ Stay left and continue to Moonshadow ➡️ Turn left onto Jack-a-Lope ➡️ Arrive at the Jackson Gore Base Area ✅ The views from Mountain Road were outstanding today. We are so lucky to be able to call this place home and enjoy the mountains. ❤️
Overall, conditions were springlike; very, very soft and will continue to soften throughout the day. Expect mashed potatoes as the day rolls on as well as bumps and moguls in high-traffic areas. 🥔 It's going to be a beautiful day, so even if you're not skiing, get outside for that Vitamin D. 🌞
We hope to see you at our Main+Mountain Merch Pickup Party and Meet & Greet TONIGHT from 3 to 5 p.m. 🎉
Also happening tonight at 6:30 p.m, William Raveis Vermont Properties is hosting a free family event to celebrate their 25th anniversary. 👏 Come on down to the Ludlow Town Hall for a comedy ventriloquist performance by Al Getler - see here for more info!
