Happy Friday! Here's to another week of all of us faking adulthood. 🥂 Unwind at Okemo this weekend and forget that taxes exist with us! If you ask us, it's going to be a sweet weekend to get your turns in with comfortable temperatures and 100% of terrain open. We are kicking off the weekend with a morning snow report from Noah and Avery's uphill adventure. Let's see what these two hooligans were up to today! ⬇️
It is getting to that point in the year when we get to start our day in the daylight. I met my good friend Avery at the base a little after 6:30 this morning to bask in the sunshine and blue skies. Temperatures were mild, ranging in the 20s with a slight breeze. The snow is crisp and soft, as close to perfect as you can get. 🤩 The views from the summit were unmatched, and we even saw our friend Riley snapping some photos and enjoying this perfect spring morning. The snow on the downhill was amazing, with crisp corduroy and soft natural snow in the trees. The conditions are still top-notch.
I haven’t hiked in over a week, life gets busy and it’s easy to skip the fun stuff. Life is like that, we find ourselves caught up in the rat race, and we forget about why we are doing what we are doing. I needed this friendly reminder to spend time with close friends, enjoy this special place I get to call home, and focus on the why rather than the what. 🥰

The morning is starting off bluebird but it looks like some clouds might roll in this afternoon for an overcast finish on the day. Temperatures will range in the 30s and might climb into the low-40s. Light wind today and the snow should be carving nicely in the morning light. Keep an eye out for snow that we expect to see roll in on Monday and into Tuesday! We will keep you posted as this system develops. ☃️
