What a gorgeous day in Vermont! ☀️ While I didn't actually hit the slopes today and I don't have a *real* snow report for you today (see below), I wanted to check in and establish that I'm still here! 😆

This is Abby and yes, I've been enjoying some deserved time off as the season comes to a close. It's been a busy 5 months of constant snow reports, so I've been enjoying free skiing and sharing content over on @unofficialokemo instead.

Noah is on vacation this week and has finally taken a step outside of Ludlow for the first time since November, really. 😅 He's had an equally busy winter with Open Door Vacation Rentals, so cheers to you bud for making it through. 👏

Okemo's closing day is Sunday, April 14th so there will be at least one last snow report as a final goodbye. We will talk about our plans for next season in the final report. 👋 I appreciate you, our readers, for allowing me to take time off. I know you diehards love it, but let's be real, the snow conditions are pretty consistent day-to-day at this point in the season. You don't need me! ❤️

The snow conditions will be quite consistent from this point forward! Expect springlike, mashed potato snow surfaces with loose granular. 🌷 Brown spots will start to increase as the warm weather continues. The weather report is showing some dreary midweek ski days with rain in the forecast. 🌧️ But, similar to my family's trip to Busch Gardens in 2009 during a tropical storm, you'll make some great memories even in the rain.

Skiing and riding is now only operating out of the Clocktower Base Area with summit access only via the Sunburst Six. Plenty of the main face trails are open for really great cruising conditions. 😎

The halfpipe is super fun this time of year, so give it a shot even if you're new to it, but be careful. Wardance is a great spot to hit this time of year too with ski racing wrapped up! Timberline is also one of my favorite spring trail runs, what's your favorite? 🏆
