I (Noah) am Han Solo again today. I did have some company on the snow this morning but the report is coming straight from me. We want to give a huge shoutout to all your support, we now have over 1,000 Instagram followers! Your support makes this little passion project worth it, we love helping everyone enjoy this wonderful place we call home.
I started my hike drafting what I was going to say about getting stood up this morning but I didn't get very far before Felix and Jen arrived, just a couple of minutes late. Just in time to enjoy a beautiful morning. It was pretty warm, mid-20s, with little to no breeze, and a killer sunrise. The snow was fairly soft, you won't have a hard time getting an edge first thing this morning. The summit had the bubbles spinning and a mild breeze as we made our first run of the day. There are 110 trails and all 20 lifts on the docket today which means over 550 acres of skiing and riding.
Grooming operations were pretty standard last night, they did some mountain tilling and winching on select steeper trails. Snowmaking occurred on Dream Weaver, Lower Sel's (The Zone), Home Stretch, Easy Street, and The Summit.
Once again, we will have warmer temps today ranging from the upper 20s to mid-30s across the mountain. The old adage "Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning" looks to hold true today. Precipitation will roll in later today, most likely after noon. We are anticipating some snow and a wintery mix with rain a very real possibility, especially in the base. Our recommendation is to get out early to get your turns in and then grab a late lunch once the weather rolls in.
Pro Tip: Drop your skis off at your favorite ski shop (ours is The Boot Pro) on Sunday so they are ready for you next weekend.⛷️

"My least favorite part of this is getting up…but wow was it worth it for that sunrise" -Jen M.
